In response to the vitality created by the Belmar Development project across Alameda Avenue, the Alameda Village Shopping Center was compelled to update the exterior design of the various buildings. Sholar Architecture responded by providing a contemporary design composed of perforated steel panels, custom steel light sconces, and a new stucco façade applied over the existing building structures. Sholar Construction also responded by constructing the new design with attention to the overall budget while maintaining the Owner's aggressive schedule for completion for what is now Belmar Crossing.
