The design for this 5,300 SF facility, located in the Austin hill country, is intended to emulate the look and feel of a ski-lodge while taking advantage of the indigenous stone materials of the region to maintain consistency with the area. Heavy timber beams compliment the exterior design and also bring warmth to the interior spaces. The building itself also has to contend with a dramatically contoured site as well as restrictions to the impervious area of the site.
