Foothills Animal Shelter [FAS] is Jefferson County’s animal shelter in Colorado. Sholar and Blue Sky have worked closely with the staff and board of FAS to define the direction of the new 30,000 sf state-of-the art building. It contains adoption areas for dog and cats, get acquainted areas, stray areas, a spay and neuter clinic, County animal control services and also a large multi-purpose room to reach out to the community. Also, working with the County was critical to obtain support for the forward and smooth direction of the facility
